Israel Film Festival at Ithaca College Presents: Villa Touma

The film follows the story of three upper-class Christian sisters in Ramallah who have shut themselves inside the titular villa in an attempt to freeze time and keep out the occupation. The walls of the villa represent the “separation barrier” Israel constructed around the West Bank, simultaneously annexing huge swaths of land and cutting off contact from the outside world.  For more information about the film, click here.

This film festival is made possible through the partnerships of Hillel at Ithaca College, IC Jewish Studies Program, IC Park School of Communications, IC Student Alliance for Israel Minienu, Ithaca Area United Jewish Community, Temple Beth El, Israel on Campus Coalition, Hasbara Fellowships and StandWithUs.
