7:00 – Keynote Speaker & Awards Presentation Award presentation to our 2019 Difference Makers: Tom and Maralee Gunderson & Catie Kopp Tours of the Anne Frank Tree Site will be available Anthony Gaenslen: On a visit to his family’s ancestral home in a small town in France, Anthony Gaenslen discovered that the residents there had hidden 30 Jewish children during WWII, saving them from certain capture and possible death. Anthony made the decision to find one of those children, a family member who had hidden a child and someone involved in the system that made this possible... Anthony also joined the Freedom Riders in the 1960s to register black people in the south to vote and to fight for social justice. His has been an interesting and meaningful life.
