The great American Jewish teacher Abraham Joshua Heschel, raised in a Warsaw Hasidic milieu, was deeply influenced by the enigmatic Rebbe Menahem Mendl Morgenstern of Kotsk (1782-1859). Heschel's last book, written in Yiddish, richly documents the Kotsker's desperate bid to cut through falsehood to divine truth. Join us for this glimpse of Heschel's Kotsk.
