A Feast of Old World Eastern European melodic delights with some contemporary side dishes, presented by Max Buckholtz, Rima Grunes, and Greg Ezra. The Kapelye will perform on violins, cobza, and various percussion instruments. In addition to traditional klezmer tunes from Yiddish Speaking Jews of Eastern Europe, the group will perform musical selections written by klezmer legends of the past, as well as by modern masters who are keeping the tradition alive.
