Tony Dior Gaenslen, whose family originally came from the village of Savigny Le Vieux;
Simon Jeruchim, an artist now living in Pomona, NY, who was hidden in Savigny Le Vieux from 1942-1945;
George Crochet, who father, the village school master, was a key figure in the resistance effort;
Annick Davy, resident of Savigny Le Vieux, whose grandmother hid children in her home.
