Hidden in France

Sunday, October 14, 2-4 pm

Ordinary people in a small village in Normandy, France, resisted and saved 30 Jewish children from 1942-1945.

Hear the story and see Simon's wartime paintings.
Tony Dior Gaenslen, whose family originally came from the village of Savigny Le Vieux;
Simon Jeruchim, an artist now living in Pomona, NY, who was hidden in Savigny Le Vieux from 1942-1945;
George Crochet, who father, the village school master, was a key figure in the resistance effort;
Annick Davy, resident of Savigny Le Vieux, whose grandmother hid children in her home.
All are welcome!
