In addition to whatever festivities and observances they are having, all of the Jewish organizations in town are coming together on Purim to celebrate together. Everyone is invited to learn about the holiday and enjoy the activities. This event is for all ages. For the little ones, there will be a bouncy house, face painting and a PJ Library area of books to read and enjoy. All ages will enjoy the carnival games, free refreshments, entertainment and photo booth. Expect to see belly dancing and a magician. Expect to enjoy the live music of the Cornell Middle Eastern Music Ensemble. Rabbi Josh Krisch of the Ithaca College Chabad will be reading the megillah several times throughout the event.
Admission is $5 per person and $10 per family. All proceeds will go to three organizations: The Friendship Donation Network, The Women's Opportunity Center and the American Jewish World Service.
