You are invited to participate in a Fundraiser Web event for The Givat Haviva International School (GHIS) in Israel. This is a unique and extraordinary educational project!
It is a two-year High School program in Israel dedicated to educating Arabs, Jews and International students in Leadership and Conflict Resolution, using the recognized capabilities of Givat Haviva.
Here is some facts about the school:
· International Baccalaureate accredited (IB)
· Student body - 25% Israeli Arabs, 25% Israeli Jews, 50% from 15 countries - Sudan, Kosovo, US, Belarus, India, Liberia amongst others.
· Located in the campus of Givat Haviva, winner of UNESCO prize for peace education
The Los Angeles Chapter of Friends of GHIS are hosting the 2nd Annual Online Fundraiser this year where you will be able to hear first-hand from students
and Nurit Gery, the Director of GHIS, to understand how all our support directly impacts the lives of these students.
I think that spending an hour participating in this Meeting will be the most inspiring and uplifting part of your week and possibly even year!
