The PJ Library Purim Party, held at the Tompkins County Public Library on March 24th, was a great success. Parents, children and grandparents enjoyed music, crafts, refreshments and games. Yossi Cohen provided the megillah reading and Joseph Prusch provided fiddle music.  A substantial amount of food supplies were collected to be donated to the Kitchen Cupboard.

PJ Library is a free Jewish storybook subscription program for young families, sponsored by the IAUJC. Families can sign up directly on the PJ website. The IAUJC board strives to encourage the networking of young families in the Ithaca area, by creating events around holidays and themes. This year, an effort was made to encourage participation by the Israeli families in Ithaca.
