At a time of paralyzing political discussions about different conflicts, the Ithaca Coalition for Unity and Cooperation in the Middle East (ICUCME) invites the Ithaca community to connect, human-to-human, in an activity that benefits the entire community. On Sunday, August 21 at 5 pm, “Building Unity: Cleaning the Hate” will be held at the Cass Park Pavilion. The event will begin with music by Vitamin L, a pot-luck, a community conversation about what "cleaning the hate" means to each of us, followed by a clean-up of trash in Cass Park. RSVP’s are requested so organizers can have sufficient supplies.
Designate your support to Jewish causes locally and/or around the world. Support the elderly of Tbilisi, Georgia, kids in Dimona, Israel, or support the local Ithaca community.
