PJ Library Public Purim Party

Balloon Fun at the Purim Carnival

Ithaca Area United Jewish Community, sponsor of the PJ Library program in Ithaca, invites young families to celebrate Purim. We will have games, crafts, music, and balloons by Pete Muzio. The Megillah will be read by Rabbi Josh Krisch at 5 PM. By attending, you and your family will be able to complete the 4 mitzvahs required at Purim. They are: The Reading of the Megillah (Mikra Megillah); The Festive Purim Meal (Seudat Purim or "having a snack"); Sending Gifts (Mishloach Manot or preparing a gift bag of three goodies to give to someone); and Gifts to the poor (Matanot l’Evyonim or bringing food for Kitchen Cupboard).

Come in costume! Bring friends! Sign up for PJ Library!
