On November 11th, Esty Schachter, author of "Pickled Watermelon," gave a reading to PJ Our Way subscribers and religious school students at Temple Beth El. This is the first book of Schachter's chosen by the PJ Library organization to include in their subscription program. It was published by Kar-Ben company. The book is a young adult novel focused on an American girl's adventures in Israel, visiting family she has never met.
