Hagit, a beautiful young woman with a sunny disposition and a mild mental deficiency, works at a toilet paper factory and lives with her weary mother, a divorcee who struggles to reign in her daughter’s desire for independence while trying to carve out a life for herself. Hagit dreams of her wedding day, adorning her bedroom with magazine pictures of wedding dresses and wedding dolls she makes out of toilet paper. When she thinks that her dream of getting married may finally come true, her life unravels in this bittersweet tale. Winner of multiple honors at the Jerusalem Film Festival and the Ophir Awards (Israeli Oscars), including Best Actress and Best Film.
