Featuring Severin Drix, an Ithaca High School teacher who was born in a refugee camp in Germany. His father, Dr. Samuel Drix, survived the Janowska concentration camp and was hidden by a Polish family. His memoir, “Witness to Annihilation: Surviving the Holocaust,” was published in 1994.
Including a candle lighting ceremony of local descendants of Holocaust survivors, a performance by the Abi Gezunt singers and a presentation by youth from Temple Beth-El.
