Jewish Reaction to Modernity

The third of a three part course taught by Rabbi David Reganspan. From the late eighteenth century onward, Jews have confronted modernity and democracy, free to learn about new ideas and, as individuals, choose their own way of life.  How do we live within modernity?  Where do our modern choices come from?  Are we always aware of the choices we are making?
